Since January 2012 you can watch Keegan-Michael Key star in the sketch series Key & Peele on Comedy Central. Apart from playing in other TV-series, like Fargo and Playing House, he played supporting roles in movies like “Let’s Be Cops”, “Pitch Perfect 2” and “Vacation”, the most recent installment from the National Lampoon’s series. He starred in the comedy movies “Don’t Think Twice” and “Keanu” as well, both released in 2016.
They have announced that the fifth season of Key & Peele will be the last. Reasons being the amount of time and effort they had to invest to create their show like they wanted it to be, and the “fear” of repeating their same sketches in different settings.
The popularity was even recognized by the President of the United States, Barack Obama. With his character named Luther, he was invited to the Correspondents’ Dinner at the White House. “Being asked to do the dinner was a further fulfillment that I never expected from a dream.”
